Large Advent question

If you go back and look at post #4 you'll see what you have are New Large Advents. Yes, those wires showing like that are normal for most Advent woofers.
Judging whether or not the foams are the right ones is hard without measurements of the cabinet's response. Perhaps Midwest can help with that.
 
The "Bullnose" Advents (which they are often referred). I have a mint pair myself and love them. They are in need of new surrounds which I bought from AK recommended ebay seller, Looneytunes. I plan to refoam them soon to get them back into action.

Those are incorrect surrounds for the all-metal woofers. The outer flange is too wide and it is not fitting onto the little ledge on the frame but overlapping it.

Those surrounds were made for the original masonite woofers but even at that, they don't look like good ones. The roll looks too small and they do appear like the stiff variety.
