Ive compared luxman r-113 vs cyrus one vs marantz 2238b
I find the luxman have a hardness and lack of prat. I dont know how to describe it, but the marantz is much bigger and fuller sounding and musical. cyrus or luxman sound thin in the mid and bass and isnt fast The marantz is like a wall of sound and very thick: Guitar have more body, the sound pops out of the speakers, the drum is faster. luxman and cyrus sounds thin in comparison and without much attack and lack of prat. marantz sounds effortless and much truer to the source even if theres less details. weird.
