Leak Sandwich Speakers

Are there worth taking a look at? I have some Leak stuff and one day thought about doing an all Leak system, did they build better speakers, do these suck, or what?

Are you looking at the one's on CL? They have been on there forever. I was curious too on how they sound.

Yeah, hji8s ad is goofy, I can't tell if he has a pair and is selling one at a time like BB or what. I sent him a message, bnut I'd have to take a tube amp out and they'd have to be killer for 3 bills a pair. Leak is usually good stuff, or supposedly it is, I have a preamp that is so,so. I guess maybe it was their amps that made them famous, I know that circuit is famous at least. Hey thanks for the replay man.

The Leak brand is much more common here in the UK. I've owned a pair of the mini-sandwiches and they were fantastic, have heard the sandwiches in less than ideal conditions and they gave me no reason to doubt that they are as good

Nice bit of info too: The 'sandwich' name is due to the cone design, being polystyrene sandwiched between two thin aluminium foil layers
