leak stereo 20

Hi all, being a relative newbie to tubes and having just sold a chinese valve amp, I'm in process of purchasing a refurbed leak st20.
I will be using a arcam cd player and a rega turntable(which I already have a phono stage for) with amp. Ive heard the amp has quite high sensitivity at 100mV and is suitable for use with a passive pre or attenuator?
Can anyone advise what is involved in building one of these and what components are required(i'm in the uk) or whether any pre built units complement this amp?
Ideally i'd also like a headphone socket for use with grado sr80 headphones,is this feasible?

An AK favorite and easy to build passive pre is the Harry Haller circuit. It can sound very nice if executed with high quality components. A google search will turn up a ton of info.
