Let's see your Fisher gear!

Jailtime

Standin' on a corner
Let's see some pics of your Fisher gear, whatever you may have. Preamp, amp, maybe an FM 1000 tuner or an 1800 receiver. :D I want to see some more Fisher gear, got some learnin' to do! I'll start with my unrestored 500C, this one should be pretty clean when it's all done.

Unfortunately I don't have decent pictures of the 400c preamp on hand. These are all operationally restored (SA-300 and 400c could use some chasis cleaning). I also have a 500T, with wood case, but it's in storage.

my 400c preamp... i recieved as part of a console i picked up few months ago. the face plate is in rough shape but the chassis is beautiful. it did and will run a pair of mc30's. been out of action for 20-25 years...
finally got a line on a 500c, going to take a look at it tuesday. origanal owner with wooden case in imaculate condition. this also been out of service for 15-20 years. will not be a steal but this is the one piece i have been looking for quite sometime and local so no worries about shipping.

My favorite piece.

Fisher 50b FM tuner from 1961 (fully restored).

Listen to the local jazz FM station (WDCB 90.9) on it just about every day.

Hello!

My 500C. Completely recapped, tuner aligned, Fisher Dr. mods done and LED lamps. Except for phono, it sound awesome. I use a Cornet II phono and get the analog sound that makes people bug out when they hear it. Peace. Robert

There's some nice gear in here, and lots of very nice 500Cs. If my camera wasn't dead, I'd put up the first 800C of the lot, but that will wait. :thumbsdn:

Kx-200

I just cleaned it up, added some new tube's and it sounds great. I'm looking for the tuner for it but for now I use my Ipod. And if anyone wants to part with a couple of gold knob caps let me know.:tears:

A few Fishers

First up my lifetime keeper 400. Unrestored.

Next is my X-100-3.

Finally is my lifetime keeper 500-C in the home theater. My 8 year old can run that system. This picture was taken the day it was set up.

Here's my 800-C, this one is fully restored by AK member sloober. Right now, it's my daily driver. It's got EH 7591 tubes in it, sounds fantastic. :music: This one will be in my audio gear collection as long as I'm around, the 800C isn't a common beast.

I first got a somewhat weathered 1964 400 which went to NOSValves and is currently pulling duty in the Commander's console while the 800C awaits restoration; then came the TA-600 which resides in its original 1960 Fisher Premiere console; then a late (1959?) TA-500 (currently unrestored) used primarily by my cat as her hilltop fortress; and most recently the 1963 800C pictured in its custom vented enclosure.
