Fixed 500TX - very nice tuner section

sits by me in my library and gives great sounds while I work or putter on the computer (like right now). Got it for free - a few minutes of diagnosis and one bad diode brought it back to reliable life.

I had 400 and 500C long ago, in fact the 400 was my first receiver.

1965 FUTURA VI. Taken when just home and before efforts to clean top.

The 1969 is Solid State and both the 65's are tube hybrids. SS in basement, Tubes in Living Room and Dining Room.

Man, makes me want a fisher now. Some of nicest looking gear ive seen, consistently. But, not yet, too many other projects to finish. Though I will keep my eyes out now.

VERY NICE '63. I like the WOOD Control panel on yours better than the aluminum overlay on my '65 Custom Electra VIII (E-490)

And for Crunch: The Right door only on the '65 open for a storage area.
