I should have written more. I think it would be easiest for your tech to wire in a new base, rather than fitting in an LED replacement. Plus, you could buy a few bulbs and have replacements for life!

How many psychiatrists who are audiophiles does it take to change a turntable light bulb? Only one, but the light bulb has to want to change.

I know that someone mentioned this, but I really don't think so. I used the circuit in a tuner where the LED's coming on was part of auto-tuning. There was not any trouble. Also, it is easy to solder try it with alligator clips, and if it doesn't work, you don't unsolder things.

OK, so today I pulled the bulb & it's stamped - 24v 18w. In the manual it states my original post.
Now the new question is; can I up the wattage to 21w or 24w?

I recently decided to upgrade my home lighting to smart bulbs to make my living space more convenient and energy-efficient. I was excited about the potential to control the lighting using my phone and integrate them with other smart devices. However, things haven't been going as smoothly as I hoped. Beware of any so-called "smart" appliances, thermostats, bulbs, etc. All that shiite can be potentially hacked.
