Let me see if i understand you guys... bring the f stop to f/8 and make the exposure longer?

I think that would be good, but these storms can be windy, and that means more shake, wouldnt it?

I Was thinking, i tried doing some with a longer exposure, but they overexposed.

You didn't handhold that one second exposure did you Chris?

No, mike i used a tripod

Anything over 1/30 sec WILL show shakeyness
