Linux Video & DVD Editing Anyone ?

Wasted two discs with the Devede program. It converted and burned the files, but they won't play in the dvd player, says because of area restrictions. The discs play in my computer drive, but are very choppy.

Okay, dvd burner died so that was the burn and play problem. Picked up an internal burner at the goodwill computer store for 5 bucks and solved that.

Found these instructions online. http://mozai.com/writing/devede/

Editing clips in Kdenlive, rendering edited clips to a file as MPEG-4/AAC. Don't really know what would be best file to render too here ? Then put the edited/rendered MPEG4 clips into DeVeDe as individual titles to make them openable from a menu. Once done there DeVeDe creates an ISO file. Right click on the finished ISO file, open with Brasero and it automatically burns the disc. Plays fine in my dvd player.

Thanks for all the leads and helping figure this out.

When the DeVeDe program finished converting to an ISO file it asks if you want to burn, I haven't tried that yet. I mostly followed the links instructions above and used Brasero like it said. I was running out of discs. lol
