List of AK'ers with a Technics SL1200/SL1210

Hi all... another SL1200 mk2 here. Stock for the moment, planning KAB mods down the road but feeling no particular hurry. I'm currently using a Dynavector 10x5 and running directly into my Outlaw RR2150 receiver. Very happy with the synergy of this setup.
 
I'd love to pick up another 1200 again, to modify to the hilt. We'll see.....


In the meantime, here's two of my SP25s.

I'm happily using an original 1200 so I would appreciate being added to your list of notables. Please.

I'm also looking at the list of possibilities for the future.

I think the cart sounds great! It's an ADC XLM III with an ADC Astrion stylus. It replaced a Grado Blue that I used for a few years. The ADC handles sybillant sounds very well. One of my favorite test records is "The Trinity Sessions" by the Cowboy Junkies. When playing the track "Sweet Jane" the Grado didn't handle the hi-hat cymbals and "S" sounds too well, whereas the ADC plays it quite well. The ADC also seems to have more ambience and space than the Grado.
 
Paul is still technically in the family in reality, he still owns SL-1200 relatives, the broadcast market SP-25 which is basically the same motor. As do I. Good enough in my opinion to qualify since they're family members.

I kept the list limited to SL-12x0 models following to 'keep it simple'.
Wouldn't want to miss you guys here though! :thmbsp:
 
Please add me to the list, I got 1 SL-1200 MKII running, one awaiting restoration and I just picked up an SP-25!!
 
When my wife's uncle said he had a TT for me I wasn't expecting a minty 1200 he bought in Japan in 1974! I really love it and I don't think I have had to adjust the pitch yet - the speed just stays dead on! Will upgrade the Pickering P/AC-1 it came with eventually but I certainly have no complaints about the way it sounds for now. Running it with a 12 wpc tube amp and Ohm Ds in the spare bedroom/TV room. That combo is perhaps a bit colored and warm, but VERY musical.
