List of DACs Under $450

I realize I am going a little beyond what I had originally set out to do, but I added a "Wireless Transport" category. Not much detail yet, but feel free to recommend. Earlier, I also started expanding on the "Under $1000" category, although I do not plan to seek out these units on purpose. I'm just putting them up if I find them on accident.

Thanks! I had the Paradisea 3 on there, but only an eBay search link. The Constantine (+) is $400, so that made it on the lower priced list.

Added the Jolida DAC. I can't find much info about it, but Underwood is selling it for $120.

Added the TeraDak Chameleon, although I can't find out what it costs, where to get it, etc.

Added the $350 category... $450 was getting too big. I'll gradually migrate them over.

I cleaned up some of the DIY DACs (they're still messy and difficult to understand) and added the Audio Sector DAC.

Finally, Jolida added information about their DAC to their website, so I updated the list.

Also, I added point-to-point wired Monica to the Under $150 list. A user on diyaudio.com has a schematic on his site.

The Satch Dac looks pretty good and can even be assembled as a kit.Has anybody reviewed that DAC?

Ive been looking into dac's as well...playing music off harddrive....the dac seems crucial

Hi NetDewt, you can delete after incorporating.

The GF TubeDAC-09 has been $215 for quite a while and is on it's fourth generation of unique to GF tweaks now.

The Sony SDP-EP9ES is a nice DAC/digital preamp, and usually goes for under $100 on eBay.
