which late model sansui model is that next to the diatone supertankers?
In an earlier post I mentioned KLH Model Nine - I have a pair that is 50 years old. I still have not heard another speaker with the definition and clarity the Model Nines show.
But a speaker as TOTL for their time & manufacturer - I would add the Altec A7-500. Most of them I have seen are big gray boxes, but Altec did make them with a fine wood cabinet. I have an old friend who has a pair.

One of the best I have and love is Cizek Model 1 I just love these damn things...Probably not the best speaker ever made but just do it for me.
My second favorite is the B-G RD -75 ribbon. Matched with some other speaker on speakers that can fill in the bottom end nocely they bare pretty cool and different with a great soundstage.
