Glad to be able to have provided some inspiration!
I'm currently working on the acoustic panels and I can tell you the WAF (Wife-acceptance-factor) is extremely low....she's almost making me feel guilty!
Other words of advice? ....make sure you wire up for everything imaginable. I just had to run a wire set from the left side of the bookcase into the audio cabinet for RCA's for an iPOD connection. A bit of a challenge but it turned out very nicely and it goes directly into the aux of my integrated amp.
Other than that...don't do the drywall yourself! Major labor and constant process of going back over the mud issues.
Other than that this has been alot of fun.
Very cool man cave. What speakers are those up front? I bet the sound would open up quite a bit if you pulled them away from the wall.
But can you share information on your panels? Maybe a new thread, and a URL here, would be good for the rest of us.
BTW, I stand in awe of anyone who can perform a project like this. I'm a klutz.
