Long-time Listener in KC

Hi to everyone. I’ve visited this site a few times over the years just looking for info but I finally have a setup that may not get me laughed off the site. Unfortunately and fortunately, I know just about as much about them as I paid for them, respectively. They were a nice gift from a long time friend who was moving and knew I could appreciate such a system.

I’m sure I’ll repost this info somewhere else once I’m more familiar with the site. Info on my system seems impossible to find so far.
Speakers: Bozak E-4005 Century (N-107A). L&R.
Code: 7410.
MC2505/C26

Thanks for any encouragement or warnings before heading down this rabbit hole.

Bozak... nice.

Welcome to AK from the county seat...Independence! Keep an eye out threads about meets in the KC area, for they do happen from time to time. Your Bozak speakers are quite respectable.

G Wolf, your E-4005 are beautiful! I love that low-boy design. You are going to find tons of info here, and lots of helpful folks. When you are looking for info, search as well for B-4000 Symphony. Your version is the low-boy cabinet design of this particular Bozak.
Your “E” version would be the factory built cabinet that was sold a la carte so that customers could add drivers to their system as they chose. A complete set would include 11 separate drivers per speaker. And they were very expensive so it is reasonable to embrace that one might take a while to build them out. Bozak provided a guide to how you could add pieces along they way but still enjoy them at each iteration.

It seems you may have opened them already, given you communicated the crossover type. What is the driver compliment in yours?

Very interested in following your story with these. They are awesome!

Welcome to AK!

Regards,

Smiley

And I’m just realizing now what was escaping me!

You listed MC2505/C26 and I’m wondering “where would he have found that code on a pair of Bozak?

Well, nowhere! You were also gifted a Macintosh amp and preamp! Wow, are you going to have fun with that rig, congrats!
