Guys, look what I have got from Japan, 127 pages Sansui HiFi catalog with all about Sansui. I think it is from the year 1975.
Inside I can see (not read:D ) speakers SP-G300, SP6000, LM-033, amplifiers AU20000, AU-10000, AU-707, receivers 551, QRX-5001, tuners TU9900, TU-707 and lot of more...
Description of producing and testing components... 127 pages history of Sansui:banana:
Now I must found someone to translate this from Japan :D

Sorry I can't help with the translation; Japanese just look like arcane stuff.

I won't make any promises here but my Brother-in-law's wife is Japanese. He met her in Japan while he was there teaching English. They now live in Calgary. I will email him and see if she wouldn't mind doing a little translating. Keep in mind they have two young children and she is currently in school so it may take a while if she agrees to do it. I'll keep you posted.
 
Cool book,but I feel like a 3 year old just being able to look at the pretty pictures. Hopefully it can be translated. Even babelfish makes more sense at this point. To translate a 128 page book into English sure would be time consuming.

I hope you can get at least some of it translated. You might check your local college.

It's "moshi moshi." :D

I have Japanese friend that could translate that stuff. Pick out a couple of pages and I'll have him translate it.

I just finished translating the paragraph under the picture of the BA 3000 amp. Not word for word mind you but pretty close:yes:

The BA 3000 amplifier is Sansuis failed attempt at designing amplification worth owning!
These were very poor amps and prone to setting your homes on fire.
There is a guy in NY who is a fireman and collects these units and it is highly recommended that if you have one, pack it in a bomb and fire proof box and send it directly to this fool for disposal. :thmbsp:

WOW KALE, what a nice score you made here and it will be interesting to read some of the real translations.

Don't we have a few Japanese members who could do this with us?
