+1 on keep looking. Based on your sig, you have better stuff.
Nothing exciting there and the price is stiff for what it is, IMHO.

Actually, not too bad of a deal. If the Pioneers are CS-99A's, these speakers can sell for $250 by themselves. The STA-2000 is worth something as well. You won't make a bundle flipping these but you won't lose either.

Agreed. That is actually one very underrated receiver. Few people give Realistic any recognition for the good but they made some killer sh*t.

Thanks I wasnt looking to flip but thought everything looked well taken care of and the cherry cabinet looked good as well. I think the deal as a whole aint bad and would make a nice first system for a family member. Assuming of course those were the actual units.

As far as upgrading goes I couldnt afford better stuff than I have !

I would guess CS-88A's or 77A's. Not wide enough to be 99A's.

I think the price is fair.

Hmmm, the ad mentions 12 inch woofers. If 88's or 77's, that changes valuation.

Looking at the photo again, the grills have metal trim so they could pre-date the 99 series. Maybe they are the ones with horns.:scratch2:

Price is fair, not great, but fair. The two Realistic receivers are nice solid units and the shelving unit looks like a nice piece of furniture.

I recently sold my CS99a speakers on eBay for almost $500.
I would buy every pair I can get my hands on. Folks love 'em.:thmbsp:
