Looking for dustcover for technics d500

I have a d500 that needs a new dustcover. Can anyone enlighten me on which dustcovers will also fit this turntable? I'm pretty sure there are others but do not want to buy the wrong one.

Sorry, but what's a D500? It's not a model number I'm familiar with.

It's a technics turntable. It's a multi changer. Much like the d5,b5. I feel that it probably has the same dustcover as these, but didn't want to make assumptions, and would like a confirmation from someone better versed than myself.

I understood that it was a Technics from your thread title but Technics turntable model numbers all begin with SL or SP. I wasn't as smart as Balifly in figuring out what you were trying to say.

The best way to find out is to go to VinylEngine.com and view the owner's manuals or service manuals for the models you think are compatible. Compare the dimensions. You can also look on eBay at the listings for the replacements made by Turntable Depot. They generally don't list all the models a dustcover will fit in the same listing but they do list the dimensions.

The one that's sure to fit is the one for the SL-B500. It's the same table other than being belt drive.

I had help from Google! :D

Thanks guys, sorry I forgot the sl. Looks like there is going to be some leg work on my end. Hopefully I can find one and not have to pay more than I did for the turntable.

You can also purchase a custom dust cover for specific models from independent companies for a modest price. It doesn't provide the function of a clear OEM cover while spinning but at least it covers your TT when not in use.I personally purchased one and it is quality made for around $30 including tax and shipping.
