I think I'd go with the SL-D500. It's a P-mount version of the SL-D5. That makes it dead simple to operate since the P-mount arm makes adjustments unnecessary. Also, like the SL-D1, 2, 3 and 5, it's essentially bullet-proof, unlikely to create maintenance hassles down the road. The fact that it's a changer might also be a plus for your daughter.
The SL-Q350 has the virtue of being quartz locked but the S-arm will require a bit more attention and expertise on her part.
The SL-V5 is very cool but complex, not to use but it's one of those tables that might not be readily repairable should it develop a problem.

The SL-Q350 is a little different than the SL-Q300 . . . The SL-350 is a straight arm p mount too, but the tracking force can be adjusted.
The SL-D500 is also amp mount straight arm, but has also a tall record changer on it. I am not a lover of record changers, but chances are she won't be running any expensive vinyl.
If a problem started, you are right, the SL-V5 could get complicated for her as a vinyl novice.
