Looking for floorspeakers

Has anyone ever gone to college and not owned CV's or Pioneer HPM's? I lived in a frat house and there were as many CV's as there were empty beer bottles LOL!!!

CVs fine if he really wants party speakers. If he likes his Boston Acoustics bookshelves, he might want to take the time to scare up a pair of BA A-150's. Big step up in both output and sound quality, and will be well-within the stated budget.
