They look like they could be ADS L710 (or 810 - they were the same style) statnds (although I wouldn't doubt that there are other manufacturers that made/sold them).

does anyone know if he's healthy and making stands at the moment? sadly the site says he was taking a break and going through chemo in the spring.

As of about a week ago, no, sadly. I inquired about making a custom turntable stand. The speaker stands they made for me about three years ago are excellent.

I don't know if they have something similar enough for your needs, but Sound Anchor makes stands like that--good quality, but not all that inexpensive, either.

There is a set of A&M stands on ebay right now, with a fairly reasonable BIN price and reasonable shipping costs.

Anthony (A&M) sells his products under the seller name of "muirfieldcircle."

I LOVE my pair! Wonderful craftsmanship and an outstanding value!

BTW, I have no affiliation... just a very, very satisfied customer.

I have a pair of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Steel-Speaker-Stands-Type-J-for-JBL-L100-L112-L166-Yamaha-NS-1000-Dahlquist/123066070673?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 they're nice stands, but the price keeps getting more and more ridiculous, I'm planning to make a couple of sets for myself (not complicated, but I'm making a few improvements).
those do look really nice, but yeah, that's pretty pricey.
thanks for the heads up though.

yeah, these are actually from the manufacturer like tnsmnichols says.
perfect!

Ah yes, good catch. Thanks. They are excellent quality. Shot filled, perfect welds - just super nice. Not cheap, but they'll last forever and look great (for a black speaker stand).
