Hello all,
McIntosh C20 vs Luxman CL34
I currently have Monitor Audio GX200 (2 x 5.5" bass driver; 1 x 4" mid-range driver; 1 x ribbon transducer) and an Accuphase P300 amp with Primaluna Dialogue Premium Preamp. I'm looking for a different preamp as the PrimaLuna isn't doing it for me, preferably something with tone controls as I like to adjust according to my ear.
From my readings, I've gathered that the matching Accuphase C200 preamp "does not do the P300 justice." As a result, I have been looking at other options. I had my eye on Luxman CL40 on Ebay, but sadly that already sold. So now I have the opportunity to pick up McIntosh C20 or Luxman CL34.
Wondering if there is feedback regarding McIntosh C20 and Luxman CL34 and how I could anticipate how it would sound paired with Accuphase P300 power amp.
