The MC direct phono section sure sounds good on these things, but not 2.4k good. I paid $250 shipped for mine off Audiogon which is about max value I could get back I think.

Yes, that is the runt of the litter, L-580, L-480 then L-450 so the offering price is a joke. The 250 price mentioned is a good fair value.

I have tried phase linear amps and several other with higher watts. Nothing has beat my l-450 in terms of the bass my speakers have or anything. Trying audire power amps next. I’d gladly pay up to 1 grand for this thing if I had to buy another. Way under rated.

Jezz getting annoyed over a 21 yo using the term boy, clearly in jest, I hope was more a byproduct of the late hrs and maybe some cocktails.

I'm 39 with an 11 yo son. I'm trying not to become an ok boomer lol.

I'm also a HUGE fan of the saying, how easily offended a person is is inversely proportional to their level of intelligence. Not as a way of slamming people. Rather keep ones perspectives in check.
