Hey again people. I came across an M-02 locally. Working condition with a few minor scratches on the face. I am not familiar with Luxman but I know they manifactured some pretty solid pieces in the day. I wonder how much the M-02's in that condition go for nowadays.

Cheers

That is one beautiful unit. I'd love to hear one. How do they compare to say Marantz or Sansui?

I just want to know how much would be a reasonable offer and I DEFINITELY want to know the meaning of "FEW LARGE CABBAGES" :D

No problem. Let me know if you get it and how it sounds. I'm glad to know you won't show up now with a head of cabbage and expect a purchase!

You know what, I really thoght cabbages as cabbages. Meaning he wouldn't pay any more than a few cabbages for that junk.

So $175 is a decent deal? Not a steal but...

P.S: Any Moderators monitoring this thread, please move it to D&S section. Thanks.

If you have the "cabbage" go for it. Sounds like a good deal, but not a steal. Offer a large cabbage and a quarter ($125 if your still learning) and see what happens.
