Luxman M-02 Recap Question

Anyone re-cap a Luxy M-02? Power supply caps are Nichicon 2 x 15,000 uf, 71v, 50mm wide x 76mm tall.

Problem is most replacements are generally 100mm tall and won't fit.

Any recommendations out there? tks

Yeah, didn't really want to change the values. May have to.

thing is do they fit...you can go up or down in value at 18kuf probably over rated i.e. 16kuf but up the voltage or go up in value and same voltage. Good quality will 'filter' the rail voltage. higher voltage capable is usually better. You can quad in 4 caps but just takes some custom mounting but 4x the esr.

15000µ to 18000µ is not a changed value. It's negligible. And you can totally safely go with up to 33,000µ caps. 100% more is never a problem.

The Panasonic T-HA series will probably work. They are snap-ins but I can probably make them work.

Anyone use Cornell Dubilier caps? They've been around forever but I've never heard much about them. $10 cheaper per cap.
