LUXMAN PD264…problem with cueing mechanism

Hello. I am looking for some assistance on how to repair the cueing mechanism. The control knob when rotated CCW, will not latch in the ON position. Plus, the Auto OFF arm does not function properly as well. It appears that the assembly is complete. It may be that I need to replace it? Does anyone have some parts to spare? Thanks!

Thanks much for the tip! I do have this manual set though and they do not get into the details at all on how to repair the switching mechanism. Next step is to dismantle it and "see" what's wrong inside.

I had one with the same problem that I never could get working. It appeared that it was simply wear that meant the parts no longer fit together with the tight tolerances required to make the mechanism function properly and nothing I did made any improvement. Hope you have better luck.

Thanks! I have had some nice progress to the point where it was working again perfectly! But the next day, the Sensing pin was getting stuck again in the up position where it could hardly drop or slide back down again!!!? I'm not done with it yet!

Hello, I had the same problem. In my case, the pin sensor was stuck because it had lubricant, something that the manual recommends not using. At first, lubricating seems like a good idea, but the same lubricant traps dust and lint and causes it to jam. My solution was to use contacts cleaner, vaporizing on the trigger plate, raising and lowering the sensing pin and repeating the operation until the mechanism is free. Don't forget to place kitchen tissue around it so that it doesn't get stained with the leftover liquid.
