    Hitachi PS-48 tonearm lift won't adjust. Any PS-48 or Realistic RD-8100 owners here?

    The "up / down" switch on my PS-48 will raise and lower the tonearm lift just fine, but the lift itself sits too low and won't adjust higher and I'm not sure why. I unscrewed the hex screw in the tonearm lift like the service manual said, but the lift still wont extend higher. Could it be that...
