Sold my PM7005 amp to a happy U of Wisconsin student. Craigslist comes through! It was replaced by a MAC6700 in my home system. The Marantz is a high quality 2-channel amp; but when I had a chance to move to the MAC, I took it. I always liked that the Marantz was made in Japan, sounded great, and amply powered my big Klipsch legacy series speakers. I demoed the amp using a pair of Focal bookshelf speakers. (My purchaser may be back for those next week.) Got to admit Marvin Gaye sounded mighty good as the demo music for the Marantz and Focal system! One thing that helped clinch the sale is that the Marantz has a phono input. Vinyl is big these days.
