Maggie 185-23 Amp help

think I made a huge mistake and if anyone can help me undo it I would be very appreciative. I removed the female molex plug for my magnavox 185-23 amp. I would like to be able to use the original controls but I threw away the plug and I don't know the schematics for the plug itself. If I can't use the original controls I would like to figure out how to add a volume control as well as an additional audio input with a source selector. If you can help with either project I would be extremely grateful!

Hi, I think the 185 series just has passive controls with no powered preamp tube so they would just plug directly into the RCA jacks on the amp. Show us some pics of your control unit and we can probably get you sorted out.

EDIT: You can post pics directly here and it's easier. Sorry, my old xp doesn't do well with image links.

The controls should have a pair of male RCA jacks which plug into the female input jacks on the amp. The controls probably have a molex connector that went to the turntable but that's no problem as it can be modified into a female right and left input RCA. Just need some spare parts like a couple of junk RCA connectors/adapters, or get something from amazon (no affiliate).
