Beautiful! If done right it could sound great. The EL84 is a highly regarded tube. Not cheap but not crazy expensive either.

No, it's like putting a wedding dress on the ugly girl that never gets the first dance. Someone will enjoy marrying her, but she's not nearly as hot as the dress makes her look.

I see several of these with the open coil transformers covered up, really improves the look. Anyone know of a source for these, maybe not just like the ones here?
