At that price I would pass.
Pics are not very revealing of the quality/damage, actually for selling purposes they're pretty crappy and makes me wonder what else is wrong.
Even thought the owner doesn't think the speaker was damaged by the water in essence it was. The particle board that holds the planer panel in place swells like a sponge when it gets wet along the edge, and all the staples that hold the grill socks on the panel are located along the bottom edge and unless they're stainless they're probably rusted. Worse yet it could harbor mold and once that happens you never get rid of the smell
until you replace the effected wood, take it from somebody who's been there.
