Well no, that's not how it works. That's like saying that a doubter of the existence of unicorns has the same burden of proof as the believer. For the doubter to "prove" his point requires cataloguing every single living thing in the universe and independently verifying that each is not a unicorn to the satisfaction of the believer. Meanwhile the believer needs only to provide a single example which should be a comparatively straightforward task.

Crazy? Expensive digital cables have much lower jitter than the cheap ones! Oh wait, I do understand how digital is transfered, forget my first statement.

Okay, but those seem cheap and nowhere near the 'Audio grade' A.C. power accessories we need.
Some manufacturers are using the term 'Audio grade' for their outlets. Unlike 'Spec grade' or 'Hospital grade' that refer to specific attributes of the product, 'Audio grade' refers to the cost.

Haha! I was waiting for that! . I consider blind / double-blind tests to be pretty useful and unbiased for separating what we actually hear from what we think we hear. I've read posts where listeners balk at such tests, but they seem like a good way for one to prove what one is certain of.

For years, many of the proponents of these technically questionable 'improvements' have refused to participate in such tests. There are situations in specific systems, or due to a defect, where changing a power cord can result in an audible difference. A minor, but noticeable difference. My problem is when these situations are not technically understood and turned into an endorsement for one power cord sounding better than another. I'll admit it, all my cords are much bigger than they need to be and shielded with decent quality plugs. It's part of the fun and overkill nature of audio, but I wouldn't bet there's a bit of audible difference between those, the merely adequate or the expensive high-end offerings.
