Also, I believe in a "burn in" process. Hopefully, you can let it play for several hours. My experience is that if there are any further problems that need to be addressed, they may present during the burn-in.

On mine it drops to zero.

IIRC it starts out at around 20~30mv at power up, then goes down to zero.

Thanks for the info, mine's closer 8 seconds. Found a pair of KLH speakers at the thrift store today. Make sure they weren't frozen or shorted and hooked them up. They sound much better than the 4-inch JBL's I've been testing on. Going to let it run awhile. Rich

I believe they were the exact value. Not much to choose from in that range. 20-30mv quite a bit different than 500mv, seems to sound fine and doesn't pop the speakers when the relay clicks.

Hi Everyone,

Regarding the fragile board connector pins in the first post of this thread, I've just acquired one of these where literally every one of these is either bent or broken. Someone really went to town on it.

Are there replacement pins out there or is the typical repair to create solder bridges?

@Marantz6G, are you talking about the wire wrap header pins? If you want to replace these, you can order something like this and solder them in. Digikey or Mouser should carry them. They come in different #rows and pins. You need to look at the pin spacing and head/tail length.
