The Brauns say 4 ohms on the label; my meter puts the DC Resistance at 4 ohms. What are the chances I will damage my 1200B by pairing them with these speakers?

Nope, the 1200B can easily drive your 4 ohm speakers. I use a 1200B with a pair of HPM100's which have a speaker terminal reading of 6.2 ohms without any problem.
You will want to be careful to not drive your 1200B into hard clipping if it's all original inside. At this point in their life they usually need some service to bring them back into spec.

My 1200 has absolutely no trouble driving my 4 ohm Maggies to really nice loud sound levels. As ChrisMarantz said, these amps are about 40+ years old a little TLC might be called for. Just as an aside, when Julian Hirsch of the old Stereo Review magazine tested the 1200 he was amazed that the it could actually put out about 200 watts into 4 ohms. It was the most powerful integrated amp he'd ever encountered up to that point.
