Hey everyone!
Working on a Marantz 2215B for a friend. It's in really rough shape. Power amp has a couple of blow output transistors, and the tuner section loads the power supply. Couldn't find an exact culprit in the tuner section, but I've come across at least one leaky diode. All the caps are original as well so that doesn't help.
Good news is after disconnecting the power amp and the tuner section from the power supply I was able to get the EQ amp and the phono pre functioning.
My goal for restoring this piece is to replace all of the electrolytic caps and then all the semiconductors in both the tuner section and power amp.
Just wondering if anyone who's worked on one of these before has a parts list I could barrow, particularly for modern replacements for the old semiconductors. Any insight would be much appreciated!
Also if anyone has any questions for me as I dig into this thing let me know!
Thanks,
Ray
