Doing a full restoration of a very nice 2265B. Finished the preamp/tone control board that fixed the failing 2SC798 noise and pop issue. Moving on the low filter switch seems to briefly drive the receiver into protection when released. I suspect the QH01/QH02 2SC1345 transistors are starting to fail to cause this behavior. Has anyone else seen this? Is this more likely in the protection circuit?
