Someone recently bought a Marantz 2325 on ebay for $455 from a seller with Zero feedback. That should give you an indication that $599 could be in the right price range.

It's got the original walnut case, which alone might set one back $150-200...or more. It's a wonderful receiver, and if it doesn't need work it might well be reasonable price. These units seem to have gotten a lot more expensive over the past couple of years.

That's for sure! I paid $200.00 just last year for a MINT original owner unit with the gorgeous wood case.

You bought one of these for $200? I was over Robs today looking at the one he just finished. Neat unit. I would pay $200 for it in a heart beat. I would not consider it for $400-600.

Most all 2325s out there need some sort of work to get everything working right.

Lamps, tuner alignment, etc are typical needs. Many need work on individual channels.

Just depends on how well the previous owners treated them. And too, they're over 25 years old, and more than likely need a "tune up".

Needing a going over is the case with most all vintage units, of any brand out there.

600 bucks for a 2325 in top condition is fair. . .

We have all heard enough about 100 dollar 1250s/2350s etc. . of course they are out there but few and far between.
