Marantz 2600 w/ WC-124 - You Know Where

Hi i have been in small business for around 10 years this marantz retails now for $600 without case and with case manual and original box maybe up to $900,
Nice Marantz.
 
All that power and it still has those crappy push button speaker connectors! It is just like those found on the big Pioneer's. What were they thinking?

My Kenny KR-9400 has the same stupid connectors. I'm planning on installing proper binding posts.
 
Woops, anybody here get this for $1225.00? I was really tempted, but spaced putting a snipe in for $1500.00. I believe that for just over 1/4 of the going rate the buyer got a good deal. It could turn out to be an easy fix as Sam had mentioned or a tad more involved, but not necessarily impossible.

IMO, a decent gamble at the price but still a gamble. The Q&A mentioned the tranny was good and I got the impression there was something wrong with the power supply board. The Q&A also gave me the impression someone tried but failed to fix and I think that drove the price down. Undoing failed fixes can be harder than fixing the problem to begin with. If it is just the power supply board, that should be an easy fix. Someone potentially got a fantastic deal.
