a neighbor gave me a Marantz 4430, powers up, no output.. relay does not click on when powered up. dial lamps work and tuner and signal meters work any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to thank all Marantz Ak"ers for all the nothing help. I fixed it on my own.

changed a diode and cleaned contacts on relay...also recapped powersupply

Thanks for ur reply it works great except the right channel seems to be getting hot, left channel remains nice and cool. outputs maybe?

Have you tried checking this (from the 4430 SM)?
