Marantz cassette belt replacement

Hi folks,looking for someone in Minnesota to replace belts in my Marantz tape deck.I have the belts and was prepared to do it but 1 out of the 3 screw was hard to get to on the plate protecting the big wheel and did not want to take the chance of stripping screw.

Beautiful deck! I have a few hundred portables, there's always one screw that doesn't want to come out and you'll strip it with normal Philips. JIS is what they were originally assembled with and they "bite" better. I bought the little Vessal Set on Amazon for cheap but I tried it on a screw that I thought was a goner and I got it out with very little effort. I think some of these decks do have a Locktite Type Product on some of the bolts but it's never been an issue for me.

Replaced belts but just found out that my heads are trashed,looking for replacement.imagejpeg_0(1).jpg
 
Isopropyl alcohol, I use it with Q-tips or better yet foam q-tips. The closer to 100% the better, I think Target has 91%, any higher and you might have to go to amazon to get it. The % has to do with water which might do long term damage to metal parts, the alcohol will evaporate on it's own.

Maybe a good cleaning with shine them up, it's pretty common for old heads to get a build up of dust and tape shred. In the old days everyone had Recoton Tape Cleaning Kits that would clean the heads and other parts.
