Marantz Model 1060 Amp - main 3 amp fuse blows - help pls

I didn't do a full deoxit but there was little crackle when adjusting the balance and tone controls and none with the volume.

oxidised contacts can be responsible with all kinds of weird behaviour. Start with a good deoxit of all pots AND switches.

There is now a fair bit of white noise on the right channel with the jumpers removed

But is the hum still there with the jumpers out ?

No hum just white noise, louder on the right channel, can't really hear it on the left.

Could it be a fuse?
