I have a Marantz 150 that I bought new along with a new spare scope tube figuring you could replace pretty well any thing on the tuner except the scope tube.Well 33 years later its still packed in its foam and bubble wrap cocoon.PS the spare tube is a Telefunken brand tube made in Germany:yes:

If you are still searching at this late date, I just wanted you to know that I just replaced the old, dim scope in my 120B with a NOS Toshiba 85DB1 / 7J3 CRT that I found on eBay from seller AudioPathic Distractions (lilwing3). It worked perfectly to restore my Marantz 120B to full scope brightness! As of today, 9/17/24, he still has one available.

From what I've read, the 150 uses the same tube. The Marantz service manual for the 120B lists the tube part number as VB0034001, so if the 150 manual calls out the same part number, I believe the Toshiba 85DB1/7J3 should work.
