Marantz PM74D Integrated

[DAA]

Anyone have thoughts about this unit? Can pick one up in very clean condition for $150. Seems to be well thought of. How would it compete sonically with the better Sony ES integrateds from same era??

Thanks!

Wish I'd have seen this earlier. I bought mine new when they first came out. Still gets rotation in and out of systems. Matter of fact loaned it to a friend for a few months along with a pair Klipsch kg5.5.
Got to missing those so as to not leave him without, picked up a very clean Sansui G series lower power model and my unused Pioneer HP60's.
Back to the PM74d, never had any problems other than cleaning controls and switches. And it's a beast powerwise. They got great reviews in the lab tests and magazine reviews.
Hope you got it for $150.00
