That's 9 pairs? 18 amps? How the heck did he collect all of them amps?
If it was within 4-5 hours of driving, I'd jump in my car right now.

[slowpat]

Yea, comes out to be $300 a pair. I think once refurbed and tubed up, can sell for $750?

[vaathi]

I am thinking of asking that guy if he will sell a single pair...

Sure..worth asking. Or you can organize an AK group buy....

I don't want to burn my hands again... Last time I thought I will get 5 sets of record divider and pass it on to AKer, it went nowhere. I am still stuck with 3 sets.lol

LOL...yes, no good deed goes unpunished....!!

Looks like they're sold. I asked the seller if he'd ship some or all, and while emails went back and forth, they were sold to someone else. He sent me a picture, and yes, there were really 18 Ampex 6973 mono blocks!

[rxonmymind]

Dang! I could have used a pair to start restoring the pair missing from my Ampex console. Grrrr.

[Dazaa]

Did anyone get a pic of the listing?

Did anyone get a pic of the listing?

Their were no pictures of the amps in the listing.

[vaathi]

Gogofast got pic from the seller... Maybe he can tease us with the pic he got...

[gogofast]

Here's a picture of all the amps. Hopefully the buyer doesn't mind - especially if he/she's an AK'er.

[Djcoolray]

They’re already GONE....
