All my Yamaha gear n my sl1200: Volvo 240- classic looks ugly to some lovely to others but built like a tank n deadly reliable. I would know I drive a 88 240 wagon pushing 500,000 miles n still running strong.

Hanpin Super OEM turntable under any brand name = Lincoln Versailles.

(If you don't remember the Versailles, it was a Ford Granada with leather upholstery, a Continental kit, a waterfall grille and a vinyl Landau roof. It looked a lot like an American luxury car of the era and drove a lot like a Granada. The Super OEM turntable, which looks like an SL-1200 but doesn't perform like one, seems like a good parallel to the Versailles.)
