Match the gear to the car...

All my Yamaha gear n my sl1200: Volvo 240- classic looks ugly to some lovely to others but built like a tank n deadly reliable. I would know I drive a 88 240 wagon pushing 500,000 miles n still running strong.

Ha - you beat me to it but I was going to equate the Miracord 50H turntable to the Volvo 240. Classic good looking piece to some (like me) and kind of dated and clunky looking to others but always super reliable, extremely well thought out and a pleasure to work on as well as operate. Wish they still made the 240, at one point I had 5 of 'em and enough spare parts to build a 6th! I miss them all very much :tears: but at least I still have my Miracords! :music:
