Matching turntables with cartridges

With the AT MC cart you had did you have the loading correct on your phono stage?. Everything setup correctly with a protractor?. These things are important, if not done so will throw everything out of whack, especially with a MC cart.

Sounds like a setup issue to me. Possibly it's a bad match to your phono stage.
