Math on Impedance Amp+Speaker

i have old sansui AU 555a , i dont know this amp can handle with 4 ohm speaker

so i will come around with this setup ( add resistor 25 watt 4 ohm) to polarity + speaker

what do you think,, is this will accepted or will loose some detail in music /sound/vocal ?

Yup. No need for resistors.

Adding a resistor in series with the speaker like that will destroy the damping factor of the amplifier. It will also reduce the power available to the speaker to about 1/2 (but that will vary somewhat across the frequency spectrum due to the speaker impedance variation by frequency). Not the best idea.
