Max power test - JJ GZ34 vs Eico Gt Britain (Mullard?) GZ34 vs Solid State Rectifier Distortion performance in the same Dynaco ST-70

I do admit some selfish motivation here. My Bogen 265 runs three 5AR4. A pair in parallel for the output tube plates and one supplying the screens and driver section. Really don't want to be forced into 3 old rectifiers or risk having them fry something in a not very common amplifier. The other amps I'm not too worried about, they don't push the limits.

I have a 16 channel gpib thermocouple monitor, suppose I could stick a few on there, maybe one on each transformer.

How I picture the amp looking soon…
