MC-2505 Bottom Cover

I am restoring a MAC MC2505 that has a missing bottom cover. I have the optional wood case with the Panloc rails, so the bottom cover with the mating rails is crucial.

There currently is a used MAC MA-5100 Bottom cover w/Panloc rails on eBay. Does any MAC aficionado know if the MA-5100 bottom cover will fit my MC-2505????

It doesn't look like it will. According to both Berner's and Roger Russell's sites, the MA5100 is 16"W x 14-1/2"D; your MC2505 is 16"W, but only 13"D.
 
Check with some of the bigger Mac repair shops to see if they have a parts unit. Since it's going into a case anyway, even a cosmetically challenged one should do fine.
