yep Im considering dropping her off at hawthorne audio in seattle for some help. I would like to tackle this myself, but it comes down to time or money. we will see what they want for $ first.
Common with the 6100, the resistors are dissipating close to their ratings when all is working right, they will eventually cook the terminals, solder, and wires tied to the terminals. Just clean it up, re solder and you will be good for another 30 years.
